Abstract. The article presents the floral composition of the segetal flora of corn crops of Kabardino-Balkaria by families and genera. The history of the cultivation of nartykha corn in Kabardino-Balkaria is briefly traced.The object of the study was the segetal (flora of agricultural crops) fraction of the flora of corn crops in Kabardino-Balkaria. The main method of research is route. The completeness of data collection on the floristic composition of plots of corn acreage was determined upon reaching a certain limit, when the repeated description of homogeneous plots did not reveal additional species. During the study, herbarium samples were collected, the degree of contamination of crops was visually assessed. Thus, we have recorded representatives of 27 families of flowering plants belonging to 106 genera and 140 species.
