Vulpes Linnaeus (1758) in Kabardino-Balkaria

Abstract. The distribution of Vulpes vulpes Linnaeus in Kabardino-Balkaria is shown on the basis of literary sources and archival materials of the AC KBR. Some features of ecology and etiology are carried out on the basis of the heroic Nart epic and Kabardian sayings. The number and its dynamics, the number of animals shot for the period 2010-2015 are shown according to the reports of the authorized executive authority of the KBR.
