Abstract. A new equation is obtained in the article, the solution of which makes it possible to determine the interphase characteristics in three-phase systems of high-energy surfaces up to known values of the edge angles and surface energies of liquids (melts). According to the table compiled based on the solution of the equation are calculated interfacial energies of oxides at the boundaries with liquid metals and their vapors. Oxygen-containing refractory compounds are highly refractory and they are used for lining (protective inner lining) hightemperature furnaces, they are used to make crucibles for precision melting of metals and alloys, covers for metal thermocouples, for example, corundum (\alpha – Al2O3) and its varieties, sapphires, which are used in abrasive tools on organic and ceramic bundles. However, some properties of oxides have not been fully studied to date. In particular, the number of oxides in which the surface energies in the solid state have been measured is small. On the other hand, if take into what of straight method measurement no existent from here of measuring the interfacial energy it is imposible. In connection with them, what no measured data energy at the solid-liquid interfase, therefore calculating this value is an urgent task.
