Abstract. This article presents the results of a study examining the impact of new microfertilizers and biopreparations on millet productivity in the foothills of the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic. The study was conducted over three years (2023–2025) on leached chernozem soil at the educational and experimental complex of the Kabardino-Balkarian State Agrarian University named after V. M. Kokov. The objective of this study was to evaluate the effectiveness of the Mikrokompleks microfertilizer, the Biorost-7 biopreparation, and their combination in the cultivation of the Krasnodarskaya 99 millet variety. It was found that the use of the products promotes the development of a more powerful assimilation apparatus and improves yield structure (panicle length, grain number, and 1000-grain weight). The greatest effectiveness was achieved with the combined use of the microfertilizer and the biopreparation, resulting in a yield increase of 6.9 c/ha, or 26.3% compared to the control. The anti-stress effect of the products was demonstrated during periods of insufficient moisture, confirming their suitability for use in risky farming zones.
