Jebrail Mekulov and his contribution to the popularization of adyge science

Abstract. In the article, the object of analysis is the biographical and creative path of the Adygeyan historian Dzhebrail Mekulov, who celebrated his 80th anniversary last (2019). Based on the facts of personal formation already in his childhood, already in its infancy, the author of the article traces such a history of receiving an education, based on which he comes to a step-by-step examination of D. Kh. Mekulov’s professional, social and scientific activities, throughout his entire life path. The final conclusions here are the conclusions about the successful activity of the hero of the day with the wish of subsequent equally intense actions.
