Adyghes of the North-Western Caucasus in the conditions of social and political transformations (60s of the XIX – 30s of the XX century)

Abstract. The article considers the main interpretations of the problems of the history of the Circassians in the 60s. XIX – 30s. 20th century. The evolution of the socionormative system of the Circassians under the conditions of their incorporation into the Russian Empire is shown. The features of the historical process of the Circassians in the period of socialist transformations are considered.
