Abstract. This article illustrates on separate examples the distinctive features of the oral poetry of Adyghe authors of the pre-literary period: Tauko Tlepshuk, Lashi Agnokov and others in intertextual communication with traditional folklore poetry and culture. The foundation of authorship, concept, its semantic poetics, specific mythology, building, in turn, a poetic worldmodel
are revealed. The space-time continuum, its coordinates are analyzed. Artistic space and time are viewed as a special aesthetic and verbal phenomenon. The comparative approach is centered on expressive means and author’s stylistics. The relevance of the proposed research lies in the holistic approach to the analyzed poetic system of pre-written pre-literary poetry.

Keywords: Adyghe folklore, jeguako improvisers, cult and ritual poetry, magical pre-written literature, artistic space.
